We use the quintessential Korean paste - Gochujang as the base. With soy sauce, garlic, sesame, and a touch of sweetness — it becomes the same base found in traditional Korean marinades.

The sauce is made from same-day harvested basil and spinach, has no dairy and very little groundnut oil, and of course, zero preservatives. So, with all things green and herby, it’s best consumed ASAP after production.

Absolutely! Since it we recommend finishing the jar in 2-4 days, in case you have leftovers, we encourage throwing it into the freezer so that the sauce can retain some of its freshness by the time it's used again.
We don’t just blend the basil/spinach leaves into the sauce, but also the stalks and stems. This is remarkable for two reasons: a) there is barely any wastage during production and b) the stalks actually give it a more intensely fresh flavour!
